Improve Your Skills

“The way of the warrior is based on humanity, love, and sincerity; the essence of warrior courage is reflected in true courage, wisdom, love and friendship. Emphasizing the physical aspects of warrior skill is fruitless, because the power of the body is always limited.”

“The art of peace begins with you. Work on yourself and on the task you have been given with the art of peace. Everyone has a spirit that can be perfected, a body that can be trained in some way, a suitable path to follow. The only reason you are here is to realize your inner divinity and to realize your inner enlightenment. Cultivate peace in your life and then apply that skill to everyone you meet.”

Aikido, a system of psychophysical development

Educational system – selfdefence techniques – universal ethical principles

Self-defence

We can certainly classify aikido as one of the most effective self-defense martial arts.

Aikido techniques are adapted to practitioners of all judi profiles, regardless of gender and age.

Since aikido techniques have their roots in ancient Japanese martial arts schools, it is not difficult to establish the level of their effectiveness.

That is why aikido is one of the leading martial arts in the selection of those who want to gain confidence and security when it comes to personal safety.

Concentration and strength

It is common knowledge that mind and body are two inseparable entities, and that strengthening the body reciprocally encourages the strengthening of the spirit. Simply put, one thing goes with the other, i.e. the way to strengthen the spirit is reflected in physical work.

Concentration is strengthened through work based on a multi-hour training regimen combined with breathing exercises and meditation.

By stepping out of the comfort zone and putting the endurance of our body to the test, enviable results are achieved in strengthening willpower.

Flexibility

Flexibility is a very important aspect, not only when practicing aikido, but also in the spheres of all sports, both professional and recreational.

Like aikido techniques, warm-up and stretching exercises are an equally important part of every aikido training.

The flexibility of the body gives us a better quality of life in every sense. Since reduced physical activity, especially among children and youth, causes major health problems, it is recommended to practice exercises for flexibility even among that part of the population for whom sports and other activities are not a part of everyday life!

Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art founded in the early 20th century by Morihei Ueshiba, rooted in the samurai traditions and deeply influenced by Shinto and Zen philosophy. It embodies the principle of harmonizing with opposing force, transforming conflict into balance, and cultivating inner peace through disciplined practice.

Team

Our Aikido team is dedicated to preserving the traditional spirit of the art while cultivating a supportive and disciplined training environment. We practice with respect, focus, and mutual trust, helping each member grow both physically and mentally. Through regular training, seminars, and shared study, we strive to deepen our understanding of technique, philosophy, and personal development. United by harmony and continuous improvement, our dojo is a place where beginners and advanced practitioners train together in the true spirit of Aikido..
